Punjab government, on Saturday, hinted at reopening schools from August 15.
Minister of Punjab for School Education – Murad Raas has hinted on the reopening of schools in the province if the COVID-19 coronavirus situations improves and stabilizes.
The provincial minister stressed upon the fact that reopening of educational institutions strictly depends upon the coronavirus situation in the province.

Furthermore, Muraad Raas said that in case the schools are reopened, all students will not be allowed to attend the classes simultaneously and that the numbers of students per class will be limited to 20.
Expressing his views on the recent development regarding harassment by teachers at Lahore Grammar School (LGS), the provincial minister stated that he will meet the affected students and their parents on Monday.
