London: Heir to British throne Prince Charles is out of a self-isolation he entered a week ago after testing positive for coronavirus.
Prince Charles, 71, spent seven days self-isolation at his Birkhall home on the royal Balmoral estate – Scotland, after tested positive for coronavirus and developed mild symptoms of novel virus.
According to a palace spokesman, “Clarence House has confirmed today that, having consulted with his doctor, the Prince of Wales is now out of self-isolation.”
His wife, Camilla, 72 – The Duchess of Cornwall, was tested and did not have the virus, but will self-isolate until the end of the week.
Those who have symptoms of coronavirus need to self-isolate for seven days, according to the U.K.’s National Health Service (NHS).
United Kingdom has reported more than 22,000 confirmed coronavirus cases with 1,408 deaths.
