Prime Minister Imran Khan is set to take part in televised corona relief fund today, to raise fund for deserving people who have been facing severe economic hardship due to COVID-19 lockdown measures.
According to senior PTI member, Senator Faisal Javed Khan, Prime Minister Imran Khan will participate in the telethon aimed at raising funds to help Pakistanis who have been facing the grim economic outcomes of COVID-19 pandemic.
The telethon is scheduled to be televised by PTV and several private TV channels at 4 pm today, both in Pakistan and abroad.
He further added that people can send SMS on 6677 to contribute their share in PM Corona Relief Fund.
It is pertinent to keep in mind that, Prime Minister COVID-19 Relief Fund on April 1 to fight the pandemic in the country. Pakistanis have been urged to send their tax-deductible donation to account number 4162 786 786 set up at the main branch of National Bank of Pakistan in Karachi.
Prime Minister had also appealed to overseas Pakistanis to generously contribute to the fund. “Donate generously and help the government win this war against coronavirus,” he had stated previously in a video message issued on social media.
