Sindh Women Development Minister and senior Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Syeda Shehla Raza has tested positive for COVID-19 coronavirus on Monday.
Former Sindh Assembly Deputy Speaker took to social media to announce that her coronavirus test report has come back positive, meanwhile the test reports of her family members have not yet come back.
Sources say that the PPP leader has quarantined herself in her house as per the standard recommendations of healthcare experts.
It is to be noted that various PPP leaders including former prime minister Yousaf Raza Gillani, PPP information secretary Moula Bux Chandio have contracted the novel virus, whereas PPP MPA Ghulam Murtaza Baloch had succumbed to COVID-19 on June 2.

Sindh has reported the second highest coronavirus cases in the country with the provincial tally reaching 53,805 COVID-19 cases, with 25,606 recoveries and 831 casualties so far.
