PMD has warned of urban flooding in Karachi and Hyderabad which are expected to receive torrential rainfall of up to 130 millimeters.
Prior to this Karachi received its third rain spell on 26-27 July last month. The heavy rains resulted in several areas of the metropolis being flooded by rain and sewage water due to extensive downpour and an insufficient and ineffective drainage system.
