Prime Minister Office (PMO) staff has been limited and reduced due to the increasing number of coronavirus cases.
As per the details, special instructions have been issued to the PMO staff in wake of the exponential increase in COVID-19 cases, whereas all secretaries have been directed to work from home.
However, Joint Secretary Admin is exempted from ‘work from home’ instructions, meanwhile deputy secretaries will be carrying out office work on weekly basis.

Furthermore, PMO staff will be subjected to special ‘duty schedules’ and will be carrying out their duties accordingly, whereas officials working from home will be obligated to ensure their availability during office timings.
The decision comes as Pakistan on Wednesday, reported its highest ever coronavirus tally in a single day with 5,385 new COVID-19 cases reported within 24 hours.
