Prime Minister Imran Khan has rescheduled his visit to Karachi, Governor Sindh Tweeted, today.
According to details, Prime Minister Imran Khan was scheduled on a day trip to Karachi on Thursday amid coronavirus outbreak, which has now been postponed.
The governor Sindh announced through a twitter post that instead of visiting Karachi, the premier will visit Sukkur, Larkana and Jacobabad on Friday, 17th April in order to monitor COVI 19 Situation in Sindh.
He also said in the tweet that the Chief Secretary of the province will brief him over the situation in Sindh.
He will also receive Briefing on Ehsas emergency cash program and he will visit Karachi in next phase.
Earlier, He was expected to hold a meeting with the coronavirus task force at Governor House. The Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah and some members of the provincial cabinet were also scheduled to attend the meeting.
The premier was also expected to visit the Expo Centre field hospital for reviewing the arrangements there.
In his previously scheduled visit, PM Khan was also expected to hold meetings with ulema and traders of Karachi.
New date for his visit to Karachi will be announced soon.
