Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday (today), revealed his New Year’s Resolution aimed at addressing lack of healthcare facilities and food scarcity issues in the country.
PM Imran Khan took to social media to reveal his ambitions regarding the year 2021 saying that he intends to tackle food scarcity and lack of health facilities in Pakistan.
The premier noted that the although year 2020 was tough, Pakistan managed to protect its people and ‘saved them from hunger’.
“Our Ehsaas programme provides social security and our health card scheme provides the poor with proper medical access,” he said.
Expressing his ambitions regarding 2021, PM Imran said, “My New Year resolution for 2021 is to complete two projects. One, universal health coverage to all our citizens. It has begun in KP and will soon in Punjab and GB.”
In addition to it, PM Imran Khan also announced that the government intends to launch an ambitious nationwide project titled “Koi Bhuka Na Soyay”(No one should sleep hungry in Pak) under Ehsaas progreamme to address the issue of food scarcity faced by the poor.
The two projects will propel Pakistan into becoming a truly welfare state, he added.
