Prime Minster Imran Khan on Wednesday (today), met with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu and discussed bilateral ties.
The meeting was also attended by Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and mulled over bilateral cooperation and matters of mutual interests between Pakistan and Turkey.
Earlier, Turkey’s Foreign Minister was conferred ‘Hilal-e-Pakistan’ award by President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi for his role in strengthening of the Pakistan-Turkey bilateral ties and his services for international peace and security and further
Mr Mevlut Cavusoglu is in Pakistan for 2nd trilateral meeting between foreign ministers of Pakistan, Turkey and Azerbaijan.
Prior to this, Turkish FM met with his Pakistani counterpart. Both dignitaries agreed on further enhancing bilateral cooperation and pursue a joint strategy at the international level on the matters of mutual interests.
The visiting dignitary was also apprised of Indian atrocities in disputed valley of Jammu and Kashmir.
This is the third visit of the Turkish Foreign Minister to Pakistan in the last two and a half years.
