Prime Minister Imran khan on Wednesday, met with Mr Nong Rong – the newly appointed Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan.
As per the statement issued by Prime Minister’s Office, Mr. Nong Rong, the new Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan called on Prime Minister Imran khan in Islamabad today.
“The Prime Minister congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and extended best wishes for a fruitful term”, said the statement issued by PM Office.
During the meeting, PM Imran said that China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is a ‘transformational’ project and further reiterated Pakistan’s strong commitment to timely completion of CPEC projects.
The premier also accentuated the significance of special economic zones (SEZs), relocation of industry, and improved productivity in agriculture sector.
Meanwhile, the Chinese envoy expressed gratitude to PM Imran and reassured China’s support in completion of CPEC projects and enhancement in industrialization and agricultural sector in Pakistan.
