PM Imran Khan has praised National Command Authority (NCA) and Strategic Forces Command for their role in ensuring that Pakistan’s defence remains infallible.
According to the statement issued by Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), PM Imran Khan visited a National Command Authority nuclear facility of the Strategic Forces Command and expressed satisfaction over Pakistan’s nuclear deterrence capability.
Upon his arrival, the premier was received by Chairman JCSC General Nadeem Raza, NI(M) and Director General Strategic Plans Division, Lieutenant General Nadeem Zaki Manj.

During his visit, PM Imran Khan was briefed various facets of Pakistan’s Strategic Program.
The prime minister lauded and recognized untiring efforts of all the scientists and personnel associated with Pakistan’s Strategic Program and expressed full confidence in Pakistan’s nuclear capability and protection to strengthen the national defence.
Established in the year 2000 and headed by country’s Prime Minister, the National Command Authority (NCA) is the top-most civilian led command to oversee the employment, policy formulation, exercises, deployment, research and development, and operational command and control of Pakistan’s nuclear arsenals.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Army’s Strategic Forces Command is a major command of the Pakistan Army, which administers land-based nuclear weapons. Its comparable command includes the Pakistan Air Force’s Air Force Strategic Command and the Navy’s Naval Strategic Forces Command, all commands formed the unified command and control mechanism under the directorship and leadership of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee.
