Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived in Quetta for a day-long visit on Friday (today).
The premier was received by Governor Balochistan Amanullah Khan Yasinzai and Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan at the Quetta airport.
PM Imran Khan is accompanied by Shibli Faraz – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Asad Umar – Federal Minister for Minister for Planning and Development Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Khan Suri and Chairman National Disaster and Management Authority (NDMA) Lt. General Muhammad Afzal.
According to sources, PM Imran Khan is expected to chair a meeting over the issue of damage and devastation caused by the recent floods in the province.
He will also review the relief measures taken by the provincial government to address the crisis and will discuss matters pertaining to COVID-19 pandemic and various developmental projects in the province.
The premier is also expected to meet provincial cabinet members and local PTI leaders and representatives as well.
