Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday, met with newly appointed Naval Chief Amjad Khan Niazi and felicitated him on assuming command of Pakistan Navy (PN).
According to Director General Public Relations (DGPR) Pakistan Navy, Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Monday.
The Prime Minister congratulated Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi on assuming the office of Chief of the Naval Staff and wished him success for his tenure, said DGPR Pakistan Navy.
Prior to this, CNS Amjad Khan Niazi met Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at General Headquarters (GHQ), Rawalpindi on October 10th.
It is to be noted that Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi assumed command as Chief of the Naval Staff replacing former CNS Zafar Mahmood Abbasi in a formal change of command ceremony on October 7th last week.
