Prime Minister Imran Khan, on Thursday, was briefed by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) officials on PK-8303 crash that killed 97 people on May 22.
As per the details, the premier was briefed on the developments and progress of crash investigation of PIA PK-8303 and that all modern methods and available resources are being utilized to determine the cause of the crash may it be human error or a technical fault.
Furthermore, Imran Khan was also informed on the facilities being provided to the people who were injured in the incident as well as the heirs of the victims.
Additionally, a team of French experts from ‘Airbus’ has also visited the crash site and is assisting by providing technical expertise to Pakistani authorities in the crash investigation.
Meanwhile, PIA engineering, technical ground support and Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) staff has been present at the crash site collecting evidence.
It is imperative to know that the plane’s cockpit voice recorder (CVR) is still missing and authorities are vigorously searching for it may very well provide crucial information relevant to the crash, whereas the plane’s Flight Data Recorder (FDR) has already been sent to France for decoding and analysis.
