Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday (today) arrived on a two-day visit to Sri Lanka. The premier was received by his Sri Lankan counterpart along with senior officials.
As per details, PM Imran Khan was greeted by Sri Lankan Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa and was presented with a guard of honor upon his arrival in Sri Lanka. This is PM Imran Khan’s maiden visit to the South Asian nation.

I warmly welcome Prime Minister Imran Khan of Pakistan who is on his maiden visit to Sri Lanka. I Look forward to interacting with the PM and his delegation on matters of mutual interest to both our nation’s, said Sri Lankan PM Mahinda Rajapaksa.
The Pakistani premier is schedule to hold high-level bilateral talks with Sri Lankan officials over mutual cooperation between two countries pertaining to regional and international issues.
PM Imran Khan is also expected to attend a joint Trade and Investment Conference aimed at exploring new avenues of trade and commerce between Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
