Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated Jehlum’s Al-Qadir University on Friday (today) and accentuated the significance of education for nation’s progress and development.
Expressing his views at the inauguration ceremony, PM Imran Khan stressed that education system education system acts as a source of self-development and means of bringing positive change in the society.
The varsity is named after great Sufi Scholar Abdul Qadir Jillani.

PM Imran underscored that education is the key factor that distinguishes humans from animal species, and that significance of education’s quality and standard that capable of fluffing the parameters of both contemporary world and the hereafter.
Al-Qadir University will be a role model for the youth. Academic research at university with a purpose to benefit the humanity and said it was time to prepare the youth adopt best learning practices of international standards to acquire knowledge, said the premier.
PM Imran Khan noted that he wants to transform the system of Al Qadir University similar to that of Egypt’s Al Azhar University, a prestigious institution of the world.
The prime minister also planted a sapling within the university’s premises.
