Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday, met with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa to mull over current security situation of the country.
According to Prime Minister’s Office, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad today to discuss security situation in the country.
During the meeting professional matters pertaining to Pakistan Army, internal and external security situation was discussed during the meeting, said the statement issued by Prime Minister’s Office.
PM Imran Khan paid homage to the security personnel from Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC) and other law enforcement agencies who embraced martyrdom defending the motherland.
Taking notice of the recent terror incidents, PM Imran reiterated nation’s resolve and courage against the scourge of terrorism.
