LAHORE: Health ministry of Punjab has reported two PIA pilots have tested positive for novel coronavirus upon return from Canada.
Both the pilots were screened after flying special flights to Canada with Pakistani origin Canadian nationals. The pilots were stuck in Canada for a few days with five others due to suspension of global airspace due to the global coronavirus pandemic.
They have been isolated at a quarantine center of a nearby private hospital.
Three other Pakistani nationals, who traveled from India on April 1 were moved to isolation at the Services Hospital over coronavirus symptoms.
The Punjab Health department confirmed that three people including a patient who went to India for the liver transplantation, attendant and the donor were tested positive after returning from India.
