Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on Tuesday, announced its new Umrah policy for its flights to Jeddah and Medina, Saudi Arabia.
As per details, PIA’s economy class return ticket between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan will cost Rs 96,000 with the sole exception of Karachi, whose ticket will cost Rs 91,000 (tax included).
According to PIA spokesperson Abdullah Khan the new Umrah policy will remain enforced will December 31st 2020.
Meanwhile, maximum weight of luggage has been limited to 36 kilograms in Jeddah and Medina. However, passengers with executive economy class will be allowed to carry luggage of up to 40 kilograms.
Moreover, an additional luggage of 10 kilograms will be allowed in case of infants.
In addition to it, travelers will be allowed to include 5 liters of Zamzam water with them other than their normal luggage.
The national carrier has also started group bookings for Umrah pilgrimage, with the group comprising of at least 10 passengers.
Passengers can avail PIA’s free of cost booking service by submitting their reservations at least seven days before the trip.
