ISLAMABAD: On Monday, Pakistan Inernaional Airlines has brought back 128 citizens of the country who were stuck in Uzbekistan due to the suspension of the international flights following the rise of coronavirus.
Moreover, PIA has also sent 22 Uzbeks who were in Pakistan back to their native land on the same day via a special flight from Pakistan, that brought stranded Pakistanis in return.
Upon their arrival, the health department conducted screening tests the passengers.
All of country’s flight operations remain suspended except the special flights which will be operate till Saturday.
The seven day-long series of special flights was stared last week on Saturday to bring stranded Pakistanis back to their homeland.
