Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced its decision to not charge infants aboard its flights.
According to the national carrier the infants aboard its flights will not be charged and will be able to travel free off cost.
“PIA brings an exciting offer for families. Now infant can travel 100% free,” said the statement issued by PIA via social media.
PIA’s new free travel policy for infants will be applicable for both economy and executive economy cabins.
Prior to this, PIA had reduced its fares for its flights to and from Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.
The airline had fixed the fare fate at Rs 7,400 (one-way) with a 20-kilogram cargo weight limit, whereas the two-way ticket price was fixed at Rs 13,500.
For an increased cargo weight limit of 35 kilograms, passengers will be charged RS 8,400 (one-way), and Rs 15,000 will be charged for a two-way ticket.
