President Arif Alvi has warned that persecution of Indian Muslims will lead to ‘internal strife’ in India.
Expressing his views at international conference titled ‘Institutionalization of Hindutva in India: A Regional Security Perspective’, President Arif Alvi stressed that extremist Hindutva ideology is being promoted under especial patronage of Indian PM Narendra Modi.
This would lead to violence and unrest in Indian society, resultantly India would blame Pakistan for its flawed and extremist policies, said President Arif Alvi.
Furthermore, President Arif Alvi underscored that that brutalities against Muslims and their ethnic cleansing in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir is the practical manifestation of Hindutva policies.
The President also criticized the notorious and controversial Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) terming it as the reflection of Hindutva mindset aimed at changing the demography of the Muslim-majority Kashmir.
