Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday (today) announced that it has successfully secured UAE’s permission to hold remaining PSL6 matches in Abu Dhabi.
As per the PCB’s press-release, the remaining 20 matches of PSL6 2020 will be held in Abu Dhabi under strict COVID-19 SOPs and preventive measures.
‘We are grateful to the UAE government, National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority, Emirates Cricket Board and Abu Dhabi Sports Council for their support and patronage in ensuring all final obstacles were removed, which has firmly put us in a position to complete our marquee event,’ said Wasim Khan – Chief Executive PCB.
PCB will consult with the team owners to finalize all event-related arrangements, details of which will be shared in due course, he added.

An online meeting with the six franchise owners later in the day to update them about the progress made as well as to finalize all details, which will be shared in due course.
It is pertinent to know that PSL6 2020 was postponed back in March earlier this year after several players and officials tested positive for COVID-19 coronavirus.
