ISLAMABAD: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Shehbaz Sharif walk out of the meeting of parliamentary leaders in protest after PM Imran Khan walks out without listening to the political leaders.
PMLN leader said that the chief executive is not ready to sit with the political leadership at a time of global pandemic. In his message shared on Twitter, he stated: “Disappointed by PM’s intentional absence from the meeting of parliamentary leaders today. It seems he is still not ready to listen to the Opposition & the whole country just saw the seriousness of its Chief Executive. I was left with no option but to walk out in protest.”
Maulana Abdul Ghafoor of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam leader, expressed dissatisfaction and said that the opposition and government should work together to fight against coronavirus.
Earlier while addressing the parliamentary leaders, Prime Minister highlighted his government’s efforts aimed at containing the spread of Coronavirus.
