Pakistan’s Saffran Group is said to have inked an IT contract worth up to US$ 3.2 million with a Japanese company.
As per details, Bears Inc – a Japanese tech company has awarded US$ 3.2 contract to Saffran Group of Pakistan to develop an IT platform for real-estate business.
The product development is likely to cost JPY350 million (US$3.2 million) of which JPY 130 million worth of work and investment road map has been already completed.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to Japan – Imtiaz Ahmad, met with Michiyoshi Takuma – President Bears Real Estate Co Ltd. The meeting was also attended by Mirza Asif Baig – CEO Saffran Group.
We are happy that Bears Inc. Japan has chosen Saffran Group from Pakistan for this product, which will be completed by high-tech IT experts in Pakistan, said Imtiaz Ahmad – Pakistan’s Ambassador to Japan.
As per Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) and JETRO statistics, this is one of the largest orders given to Pakistan regarding its IT sector.
The development fill further encourage the growth of Pakistan’s IT sector bringing valuable foreign exchange to the country and as well as creating new employment opportunities for Pakistani youth.
