Pakistan’s embassy in Washington United States, has been closed amid COVID-19 exposure fears.
As per details, the embassy will remain closed for three days i.e. January 4-6 due to possible coronavirus exposure within the premises.
Consular section will also remain closed, said the official notification issued by the embassy.
However, online services for visa and passport renewal as well as mail-in visa facility will remain operational.
The embassy will be decontaminated whereas its staff will be tested for COVID-19 coronavirus as a precaution.
It is to be noted that Unites States has been the worst affected country in the world with devastating impacts of COVID-19 coronavirus.
US has reported more than 2 million COVID-19 cases with 349,246 deaths so far.
