Pakistan’s coronavirus recovery rate according to a National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), has been recorded at an impressive 96 per cent.
As per the NCOC report, 290,760 people have so far recovered from the novel COVID-19 coronavirus out of the total 303,089 COVID-19 patients with a recovery rate of 95.93 per cent.
The report mentioned that Pakistan has 5,936 active COVID-19 cases and around 29,100 coronavirus tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, province wise situation showcases Sindh with the highest number of coronavirus cases at 132,591 patients in total so far, Punjab – 97,946; Khyber Pakhtunkhwa – 37,140; Balochistan – 13,690; Gilgit Baltistan – 3,297; Azad Jammu and Kashmir – 2,441.
Furthermore, the report said that 6,393 COVID-19 related deaths have been reported in the country so far. Sindh has reported highest death toll with 2,448 casualties, 2,220 in Punjab, 1,257 in KP, 178 in ICT, 145 in Balochistan, 79 in GB, and 66 in AJK.
A total of 995 COVID-19 patients are being treated in 735 hospitals across the country, the report added.
