Pakistani shooter Kishmala Talat has secured qualifications for the upcoming Paris Olympics in shooting competitions.
Kishmala, who previously clinched a bronze medal in the Asian Games, showcased an outstanding performance in the Asian Shooting Championship for women’s 10-meter air pistol in Jakarta
In the initial round, Kishmala scored 575 points, securing her qualification for the finals. Demonstrating remarkable skill in the final round, she competed against India’s Eshs Singh for the gold medal.
Kishmala claimed the silver medal and a quota spot in the Paris Olympics 2024.
Confirming Kishmala’s achievement, Razi Ahmed Khan, secretary of the Pakistan Shooting Federation, affirmed that she has successfully secured a place in the Paris Olympics 2024.
Kishmala became the third Pakistani shooter to qualify for the Olympics after Gulfam Joseph and GM Bashir.
In addition to shooting, Arshad Nadeem has also confirmed his place in the Olympics in athletics, while equestrian athlete Usman Khan’s qualification position remains stable and strong.
