Pakistani flags are in ‘high-demand’ in Azerbaijan amid country’s ongoing conflict with Armenia over Nagorno-Karabakh region.
Ali Alizada – Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Pakistan on Tuesday, took to social media to reveal that Pakistani flags are in high-demand in Azerbaijan due to Pakistan’s continuous support to the Azeris in Nagorno-Karabakh conflict against Armenia.
“Love to Pakistan and Turkey is boundless in Azerbaijan, and requirements for Pakistani flag are also increased,” he tweeted.
The Ambassador also shared a video showing Pakistani and Turkish flags being manufactured in Azerbaijan.
Pakistan’s unwavering support to Azerbaijan in Nagorno-Karabakh region has garnered wide praise from the people of Azerbaijan for both Pakistan and Turkey.
Prior to this, the Azeri ambassador on October 1st had shared a picture showing Pakistani and Turkish flags displayed on an apartment building in Baku – capital city of Azerbaijan.
Armenia and Azerbaijan are currently involved in an armed conflict over the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region contested by both countries.
Pakistan has overtly supported Azerbaijan’s position on Nagorno-Karabakh, which is in line with the several unanimously adopted United Nations Security Council resolutions.
