Singapore established award-winning Pakistani documentary filmmaker, Shehzad Hameed Ahmed who has added one more attribute in his film making a career – and becomes the first Pakistani to host as a judge at the reputable Association of International Broadcasting awards 2020, that will be held at the Church House Westminster, London in this year.
Since 2015, Shehzad has always worked as Senior producer international productions with channel news Asia and voyaged to Brazil, Bangladesh, Norway, Australia, New Zealand, United states, Pakistan, Philippines, Afghanistan, Egypt, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Nepal to capture documentaries for the grapevine.
Shehzad’s projects has based on topics like woman rights, social issues, economy and business and investigations – concerned in to his documentaries. He chosen menacing locations like Afghanistan to the forests of Poso, Sulawesi inserting with numerous militaries in the most dreading spots in the world. Outstanding to his work, Shehzad received the Prince of Asturias award for international collaboration in 2014 – from the king of Spain at the annual ceremony in Austrias, Spain.
