Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday, reiterated Pakistan’s principle stance on Palestine issue stating that the country will never recognize Israel until Palestinians are given their due right of a just settlement.
Speaking in an interview with anchor Kamran Khan of Dunya News, PM Imran Khan reiterated Pakistan’s undeterred, unchanged principle stance on Palestine issue and categorically denied false rumors regarding the possibility of Pakistan’s recognition of Israel.
“Our stance is clear, our stance was clearly defined by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in 1948. We will never recognize Israel until Palestinians are given their right to a just settlement as per the two-nation theory,” he said.
Palestine and Kashmir issues are similar and we cannot compromise on them, he added.
The development comes as earlier, United Arab Emirates (UAE) announced that it will be normalizing its relations with the State of Israel, establishing formal diplomatic, political and economic relations with the Jewish state.
