Cricket Australia on Tuesday announced the schedule for the Pakistan team’s limited-over tour wherein the Green Shirts are set to take on the Kangaroos in November.
Pakistan team’s tour will see the national side playing three ODI and as many T20I matches, with the former commencing on November 4 in Melbourne.
The ODI series will culminate on November 10 in Perth and will be followed up by the T20I series which will kick off on November 14 in Brisbane.
Green Shirts tour to Australia comes after a gap of 11 months as previously the national side faced off the Kangaroos in the Benaud-Qadir Trophy, which comprised three Test matches played across Perth, Sydney and Melbourne in December 2023-January 2024.
The announcement comes amid Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) efforts to appoint the national side’s head coach — a post that was left vacant after Grant Bradburn transferred to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) after a change in his portfolio in November 2023.
Last week, the board also announced the formation of a reorganised national selection committee comprising comprising former cricketers Mohammad Yousuf, Wahab Riaz, Abdul Razzaq and Asad Shafiq.
The seven-member committee also includes the head coach, who is yet to be appointed, captain and an analyst.
