Islamabad: China has decided to provide ventilators, protective gear and portable ventilators amid coronavirus outbreak in Pakistan.
Speaking to a private television, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi stated, “China has [also] decided it will provide us with a cash grant to set up a state-of-the-art isolation center to combat the coronavirus outbreak in the country.”
“They are ready to help us and have even offered to share their medical expertise to combat the spread,” he added.
According to Foreign minister, Chinese leadership is committed to help Pakistan in its effort to contain coronavirus outbreak, and they have greatly appreciated Pakistan’s decision to not evacuate its citizens from china as every other country did so.
Returning from his recent visit to China, Mr. Qureshi announced that he will observe a five-day self- isolation and will have himself screened for coronavirus after it.
Foreign minister has stressed upon the significance of public cooperation and people must strictly adhere to the preventive measures advised by authorities.
