Pakistan has ramped up its flight operation allowing international flights to and from the country to be increased by 50%.
As per details, following the approval from NCOC, Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has as allowed international flight operations up to 50% of approved Summer 2021 flight schedules for air carriers operating to/from Pakistan.
‘In view of the recent improvement in Covid-19 situation in various parts of the world, the Government of Pakistan has increased the international flight operation up to 50 per cent,’ read the official notification.
The new directives will come in to effect from Thursday July 15th (tomorrow).
However, wide-bodied aircraft will be limited up to 80% seating capacity, whereas narrow-bodied aircraft will be allowed to utilize 90% seating capacity.
Passengers will be tested for COVID-19 72 hours before boarding the flight. Rapid testing to be conducted at all airports.
