Pakistan observes ‘Youm-e-Takbeer’ today in remembrance of historic nuclear tests in Chagai on May 28th 1998.
The Chagai-I and Chagai-II nuclear explosions conducted in at Ras Koh Hills in Balochistan are considered momentous moment in Pakistan’s history as the country became one of the nine countries in the world with nuclear weapons and more importantly the only Muslim one.
Pakistan Army media wing, ISPR took to social media to congratulate the countrymen on the historic occasion which deterred the neighboring India against any misadventure, aggression and guaranteed the preservation of Pakistan’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.

Meanwhile, in a statement Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) also reiterated nation’s commitment for its sovereignty and to promote regional peace and stability.
