Pakistan on Wednesday, confirmed another record highest daily toll with 5,385 COVID-19 cases reported within 24 hours.
National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) has confirmed that Pakistan’s coronavirus tally reached 113,702 cases as a record 5,385 new cases were reported in a single day.
Furthermore, 83 coronavirus related deaths were reported within the last 24 hours, taking the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 2,255 deaths.

Province wise distribution of the cases reveals that Punjab has been the worst hit province with 43,460 COVID-19 cases, followed by Sindh – 41,303, Balochistan – 7,031, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa – 14,527, Gilgit Baltistan – 974, Islamabad – 5,963 and Azad Kashmir has recorded 444 coronavirus cases so far.
Moreover, Punjab has reported 807 COVID-19 related deaths, Sindh – 696, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa – 610, Balochistan – 62, Islambad – 57, Gilgit Baltistan – 14 and nine individuals have succumbed to coronavirus in Azad Kashmir so far.
