Prime Minister Imran Khan has lauded the remittances from overseas Pakistani amounting to US$2.768 billion in July 2020.
The premier took to social media to praise the efforts and contributions made by overseas Pakistani for country’s well-being and progress.
“More good news for Pak economy. Remittances from overseas Pakistanis reached $2,768 million in July 2020,” he tweeted.
PM Imran Khan highlighted that this reflects an increase of 12.5 per cent and 35.5 percent over the June 2020 and July 2019 remittances respectively.
Prior to this Imran Khan had congratulated the nation on upturn of the economy after two years of struggle.
