Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi has expressed satisfaction of operational readiness, training of troops.
According to DGPR Pakistan Navy, CNS Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi chaired Command & Staff Conference held at NHQ, Islamabad. Matters related to Geo Strategic milieu, national security, Operation preparedness and training/welfare of troops were reviewed.
The forum also reaffirmed implementation of government policies to restrict countrywide spread of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Pakistan Navy Ship PNS NASR had paid goodwill visit to Mombasa, Kenya on Wednesday a day earlier. The ship was warmly welcomed by host naval officials. Mission Commander and CO called on senior military and civil officials of Kenya. During the meetings, matters of mutual interest and bilateral cooperation were discussed.
Mission Commander conveyed sincere regards from Govt of Pak and CNS Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi to people of Kenya. PNS NASR encircled African continent visiting Djibouti, Sudan, Benin and gifted food aid for local populace as humanitarian gesture of solidarity and friendship

Earlier, Pakistan Navy had conducted Asad Al Bahr-II’ bilateral naval exercise with Qatari forces on March 29th last month.
During port visit, the Mission Commander of PN Flotilla called on various dignitaries of host country, said PN spokesperson.
On completion of port visit, bilateral exercise Asad Al Bahr-II was conducted b/w PN & QENF ships along with aircraft of QEAF. The exercise was aimed to strengthen bilateral ties, enhance naval collaborations and interoperability among the two navies.
