Pakistan has strongly condemned Israeli airstrikes that left at least 28 Palestinians martyred including 10 children.
In a statement issued by Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), Pakistan has strongly condemned the deadly Israeli airstrikes which have martyred at least 28 Palestinians in Gaza.
Out of the 28 martyred Palestinians, 10 are said to have been children.
“Pakistan strongly condemns the air strikes by Israel in Gaza that resulted in deaths and injuries to so many innocent Palestinians including children. This is yet another reprehensible action during the holy month of Ramadan, following the increased restrictions on the fundamental freedoms of Palestinians, and the attacks in and outside Al-Aqsa Mosque,” read the MoFA press-release.
The indiscriminate use of force by Israeli forces against defenceless Palestinians, causing death and injuries, defies all humanitarian norms and human rights laws. Pakistan calls upon the international community to put an end to the blatant use of force and flagrant violation of human rights of the Palestinian people, it added.
The development comes as Israeli forces initiated indiscriminate airstrikes against Palestinian civilian population in Gaza strip on Monday a day earlier.
The two-day onslaught on Palestinian civilian population included around 150 Israeli airstrikes so far.
Spoke to brother @MevlutCavusoglu on the increasingly dire and oppressive situation in Palestine. Fully support Turkey’s call to convene meeting of @OIC_OCI & UN. Storming 1st Qibla of Islam Masjid Al Aqsa, killing children and forcing evictions – absolutely unacceptable.

Attacks in & outside Al-Aqsa Mosque, injuring innocent Palestinians, defy all humanitarian norms. East Jerusalem remains part of Occupied Palestinian Territory in which Int’l Humanitarian Law applies. Int’l community must urge Israel to respect fundamental freedoms of Palestinians.
