Pakistan has strongly condemned Israeli attack on Al-Aqsa mosque in Palestine injuring dozens of worshippers.
In a statement, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) highlighted that Israeli attack on worshippers inside Al-Aqsa mosque during the month of Ramadan violates all humanitarian norms and human rights laws.
“We pray for the speedy recovery of the injured, reiterate our steadfast support to the Palestinian cause, and once again urge the international community to take prompt action to protect the Palestinian people,” read the MoFA press-release.

Furthermore, Pakistan reiterated its support for the two-state solution in accordance with the relevant United Nations and OIC resolutions, with the pre-1967 borders, and Al-Quds Al-Sharif as the capital of a viable, independent and contiguous Palestinian State.
The development comes as earlier, Israeli forces targeted worshippers inside Al-Aqsa mosque with tear gas, rubber bullets and stun grenades injuring more than 200 Palestinians.
