Pakistan’s Foreign Office, on Thursday, strongly condemned and refuted false Indian propaganda regarding the health of Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
Aisha Farooqui – Foreign Office spokesperson, took to social media to refute and condemn the false rumours and propaganda being done by Indian media regarding the health of FM Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
“We strongly condemn attempts by mischievous elements to hack Wikipedia page of FM Qureshi and spread rumours on social media about his health and well-being,” she tweeted.
The FO spokesperson also apprised regarding FM Qureshi’s health stating that he is recovering fast.

The development comes as ‘Wikipedia’ page about Shah Mahmood Qureshi was reportedly hacked and was nefariously altered to show-case the demise of Mr Qureshi. Meanwhile, rumours have been circulating in Indian media and social-media alike propagating this false news.
It is to be noted that Shah Mahmood Qureshi, on July 3 announced that he had contracted COVID-19 coronavirus and is practicing self-isolation as a precautionary measure.
