Pakistan has once again condemned the remarks and allegations made by Afghanistan’s National Security Advisor (NSA) against Pakistan.
In a statement, Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson denounced the ‘unwarranted’ remarks made by Afghan NSA Hamdullah Mohib.
We strongly condemn the baseless insinuations by the Afghan National Security Advisor (NSA), Hamdullah Mohib, alleging Pakistan’s involvement in the internal affairs of Afghanistan, said FO spokesperson.
Remarks made by Hamdullah Mohib are deeply concerning as they are tantamount to a calculated attempt by his office to disregard and nullify the progress in the peace process so far, he added.
Furthermore, Afghan NSA Hamdullah Mohib was also reminded that Afghanistan-Pakistan Action Plan for Peace and Solidarity (APAPPS) both sides are obligated to avoid public blame-game and use official channels to discuss complete gamut of bilateral relations. Statements that erode mutual trust should be avoided.
