Pakistan and Bahrain’s military leadership agree on strengthening security cooperation as Commander Bahrain’s National Guard called on COAS General Bajwa at GHQ on Friday (today).
Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa met with General Sheikh Mohamed Bin lsa Al-Khalifa, Commander of the National Guard of the Kingdom of Bahrain and mulled over bilateral relations and security cooperation.
The two discussed matters of mutual interest, regional security especially Afghan Peace Process and measures to further enhance professional cooperation between both the armies, reported ISPR.
During the meeting Army Chief General Bajwa noted that Pakistan Pakistan values its strong diplomatic, economic and defence relations with Kingdom of Bahrain.
Both sides reiterated the desire to further enhance bilateral cooperation including efforts for peace and security in the region.
Meanwhile, the visiting dignitary lauded Pakistan’s positive role for regional peace and stability.
