A Pakistan Army soldier has been martyred in a terrorist attack in Turbat, Balochistan, reported ISPR on Thursday a day earlier.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), militants targeted Pakistan Army troops near Turbat Balochistan.
Naik Aqeel Abbas – a hailing from Mehro Peelo, District Chakwal embraced martyrdom as a result of small arms fire by the terrorists.
Following the incident, FC Balochistan launched a large scale area sanitization operation in the area to hunt the terrorists who carried out the attack.
Such cowardly acts by inimical elements, backed by anti-state forces cannot sabotage the hard earned peace and prosperity in Balochistan. Security forces are determined to neutralize their nefarious designs even at the cost of blood and lives, said ISPR.
Meanwhile four terrorists were killed during an encounter with CTD on the outskirts of Quetta.
Around 6-8 terrorists managed to flee, whereas security forces confiscated a large quantity of weapons and ammunition from the site. According to CTD officials, the terrorists belonged from a banned outfit and were involved in attacks on security forces in the last one month.
