A Pakistan Army soldier on Wednesday embraced martyrdom due to cross border shelling by Indian forces along Line of Control (LOC), three civilians have also been wounded on Thursday (today).
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Indian troops resorted to unprovoked and indiscriminate cross border firing in in Bedori Sector along LOC, targeting Pakistan Army posts and civil population.
“During exchange of intense fire, Havaldar Liaqat, age 39 years, resident of District Chakwal, embraced shahadat,” read the press release issued by ISPR.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Army responded effectively. Reports of heavy losses on enemy in terms of men and material.
Pakistan on multiple occasions, has registered its protest to Indian officials over continuous, unprovoked and indiscriminate ceasefire violations (CFVs) by Indian forces along LOC.
As per the press release issued by Pakistan’s Foreign Office (FO), a senior Indian diplomat was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday to register Pakistan’s strong protest over ceasefire violations by the Indian occupation forces along the LoC on 5th September 2020, resulting in serious injuries to one innocent civilian.
Meanwhile, according to the statistics provided by FO, India has committed 2,158 ceasefire violations which had martyred 17 and had left 168 civilians with serious injuries so far this year.
