President Arif Alvi bestowed Nishan-e-Imtiaz to Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Chief Zaheer Ahmed Baber in Islamabad on Monday (today).
As per details, Chief of Air Staff (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Baber was conferred with Nishan-e-Imtiaz (Military) by President Arif Alvi in a special investiture ceremony held in federal capital.
The development comes as ACM Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Baber took charge as PAF on Friday March 19th last week.

Who Is Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber?
CAS Air Chief Marshall Zaheer Ahmed Baber joined the PAF in April 1986 as a general duty pilot. During his career, he has served as head of fighter squadron, an operational airbase and regional air commander.
Air Chief Marshal Baber is a graduate of the Combat Commanders’ School, Air War College and Royal College of Defence Studies (RCDS) in the UK. Before taking charge as the PAF chief he was serving at the Air Headquarters Islamabad as deputy chief of the air staff (Administration).
His previous staff appointments also include Assistant Chief of the Air Staff (Operation Research & Development); Assistant Chief of the Air Staff (Training Officers); Director General Projects at Air Headquarters Islamabad; Additional Secretary at Ministry of Defence.
For his services to the nation, he has been awarded with Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (Military), Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Military) and Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military).
