Islamabad: Federal government intends to include oversees Pakistanis in Prime Minister’s Corona Relief Tiger Force.
Prime Minister’s special assistant on Overseas Pakistanis and Zulfi Bukhari, and special advisor on Youth Affairs, Usman Dar, on Thursday, announced to include the Pakistani diaspora in Corona Relief Tiger Force.
The voluntary force will be dubbed as ‘Overseas Tigers’, and will oversee the ration distribution and provision of financial assistance to Pakistanis stranded in various countries due to travel restrictions amid COVID-19 outbreak.
A joint portal will be set up by Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development and the PM’s ‘Corona Relief Tiger Force’ for this purpose.
In addition to it, oversees Pakistanis will also be able to donate and contribute to the PM’s Corona Relief Fund via this website.
Corona Relief Tiger Force has been established by Prime Minister Imran Khan to work as a relief force for needy fractions of the society affected by corona virus pandemic, more than 600,000 volunteers, including 19,178 females from across the country have registered themselves in the voluntary forces so far.
