A majority of entrepreneurs in Pakistan are benefitting from ‘optimal’ business environment, conditions, says a survey report.
According to a Gallup survey report, 61% of Pakistani entrepreneurs are satisfied and enjoying good positive business conditions in the country despite the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic and its adverse effects on economy.
A total of 400 businesses participated in the survey of which around 39% entrepreneurs noted in the survey report that they are facing adverse and unfavorable conditions/circumstances regarding their businesses.
Sector-wise breakdown of the survey report regarding the positive feedback of business conditions; reveals that 68% respondents belonged from manufacturing sector, 58% from service whereas 52% were associated with trade.
Furthermore, participants were also asked to share their view on the future of business; 72% of the respondents noted that they expect significant improvement and hoped for a positive outlook, whereas 28% expected a grim future as far as entrepreneurship and business is concerned.
The average score of positive business outlook in future stands at 44% as compared to the previous 58%.
Those who hoped for improved circumstances for businesses in future; 72% were from manufacturing sector, 73% from service and 84% belonged from trade.
