Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday, lambasted oppostion’s show of power in Gujranwala, terming it as a mere ‘circus’.
Addressing the Tiger Force Convention in Islamabad, PM Imran Khan took a jibe at Pakistan Democratic Movement’s (PDM) show of power in Gujranwala on Friday.
Expressing his views, PM Imran Khan contended that PDM and the opposition parties have took to the streets only to protect their corruption. Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari are responsible for the inflation and every other issue for which they are shedding ‘crocodile’ tears.
PM Imran urged the courts and National Accountability Bureau to conclude corruption cases without any delay as the people were yearning to get back their looted money.
Meanwhile, highlighting the role of Tiger Force, PM Imran Khan stressed that Tiger Force workers must not interfere in any matter, and they should file an official complaint on Citizen’s Portal.
Shopkeepers selling good on high prices will be subjected to strict legal action, he warned.
Furthermore, the premier condemned opposition’s criticism against Army and other national institutions, terming it as a threat to national security.
Our soldiers are sacrificing their lives for the country, whereas Nawaz Sharif is an absconder and ‘on the run’ fugitive, he noted.
However, he highlighted that he won’t talk much about Bilawal Bhutto and Maryam Nawaz’s speech as both of them are benefiting from their fathers’ corruption.
