Indian troops on Wednesday, resorted to unprovoked and indiscriminate cross-border shelling resulting in one civilian casualty and six injuries on the Pakistani side.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Indian forces resorted to unprovoked and indiscriminate firing in Hot Spring Sector along the line of control (LOC).
“An 18 years old girl, resident of Fatehpur village embraced Shahadat while 6 innocent people including 2 women & 2 girls got injured in Fatehpur and Tahi villages,” said the statement issued by ISPR.
Pakistani troops responded effectively to Indian aggression at targeted Indian posts which targeted Pakistani civilian population.
As per the statistics issued by ISPR, Indian forces have committed 1877 Ceasefire violations (CFVs) this year so far resulting in 15 civilian casualties on the Pakistani side along with 144 injuries.
Martyred civilians include 6 women & 5 children, whereas 46 women and 37 children are among those who sustained injuries.
